Ergéa is a pan-European healthcare company, founded by doctors and dedicated to expanding patient access to innovative and high-quality diagnostics and therapies.
With a strong focus on oncology, Ergéa's 1,500 employees serve communities across Europe through its 43 Medical Centres and 140 Hospital Partnerships, bringing the latest innovations in advanced medical technologies to more patients. The group is headquartered in Luxembourg and currently operates in the UK, Germany, and Italy, with plans for continued expansion into new European markets.
Ergéa Group was formed in 2020, when DWS established a long-term plan to acquire and develop healthcare companies that exhibit strong infrastructure characteristics to one of its European infrastructure funds. The major acquisitions have been so far:
2020
- Medipass Spa, the leading provider of Integrated Clinical Solutions in Diagnostic Imaging, Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine in Italy established in 1996.
- Medipass Healthcare Limited, the leading provider of Radiotherapy Managed Equipment Services (MES) in the UK established in 2011.
2021
- RadioOnkologieNetzwerk, the leading network of radiotherapy practices in Germany established in 2008.
2022
- Althea UK, the leading provider Diagnostic Imaging, Biomed and Endoscopy MES provider in the UK established in 2002.
